How onboarding works

Standard merchants can apply online; enterprise and global-acquiring setups go through a dedicated sales and implementation process.

Baseline eligibility

Requires a registered business able to pass underwriting/KYB; specific products depend on sector, volume and markets served.

Restrictions and risk review

Certain high-risk sectors and markets are restricted or require enhanced underwriting; standard KYC/KYB/AML and card-scheme rules apply. Since January 2026 Worldpay operates as part of Global Payments following that acquisition.
