Best fit and business types
US sole proprietorships, LLCs, corporations, partnerships and other eligible forms; selected privately held structures may apply online, while more complex structures use a branch.
Capabilities
- Business checking, cards, checks and wires
- US branch and ATM network
- Built-in card acceptance for selected products
How onboarding works
The online route is limited to selected privately held businesses. Owner information above the stated threshold, formation documents, EIN/TIN, citizenship, addresses and expected activity are requested; a branch may require signers to attend.
Baseline eligibility
The practical route is for a business with US registration, a tax identifier and verifiable operations. Non-resident eligibility depends on structure, documents, address and application channel.
Restrictions and risk review
Online application excludes many multi-layered, nonprofit or business-owned structures. Account and merchant-services approval are separate bank decisions after KYC/KYB and risk review.
