UAE Budget Free Zone without visa

The entry route is selected among available budget zones; the exact tariff depends on the zone and activity.

UAE Premium Free Zone without visa

A benchmark for premium zones such as Meydan/IFZA; the zone and activity are confirmed before payment.

Basic — included

  • Consultation, selection of a standard legal form and an initial activity-eligibility review.
  • Name check, standard articles, founder resolution and registry forms.
  • One founder, one director and standard UBO/PSC registration where it forms part of the process.
  • Formation and the listed government fees, certificate and electronic corporate-document pack.
  • A tax number where assigned automatically or expressly included in the selected option, plus a mandatory-filing guide.
  • Selection of a suitable free zone and one eligible activity, name check and KYC.
  • Company formation, trade licence, incorporation documents, zone fees and flexi-desk/registered address within the selected tariff.
  • The price is always 'from': the zone, activity, establishment card, visas and immigration scope are quoted separately.

Paid separately

  • —Share capital: it belongs to the company rather than being a service fee and is funded separately where required.
  • —Notary work in the client's country, apostille or consular legalisation, non-standard translations and international courier.
  • —Accounting, audit, annual filings, VAT and other tax registrations unless expressly listed in the package.
  • —Licences, regulated activities, a physical office, visa/residence permits and mandatory local or nominee-director services.
  • —Bank or payment accounts, Stripe/Wise/Payoneer and merchant onboarding. Application support never guarantees approval.
  • —Visa, Emirates ID, medical, an out-of-package establishment card, extra activities, physical office, corporate-tax accounting and VAT.

Business

Basic plus corporate email, a domain and Bank Application Support.

Premium

Business plus a website, bank business plan and three months of coordination.

Turnkey

Premium plus accounting launch, VAT where needed and an enhanced compliance scope. Final scope is confirmed separately.

Remote formation for residents and non-residents

Many free zones allow the application and documents to start remotely; the establishment card, visa, biometrics and banking may require separate steps.

Online — conditions apply

For a resident

  • A resident selects mainland/free-zone setup based on visa, office, market access and permitted activities.
  • An Emirates ID and local presence generally simplify personal verification, while corporate KYB remains mandatory.

For a non-resident

  • A non-resident may own many mainland/free-zone companies; eligibility depends on the activity and authority.
  • For banking, we prepare the UAE rationale, contracts, source of funds, projected flows and office/visa strategy in advance.

Important: a non-resident's right to own the company does not automatically grant a right to live, work or manage it from that country. Immigration, work permits, substance, effective management and tax residence are assessed separately.

REMOTE-PROCESS LIMITS

  • A free-zone licence does not automatically permit every mainland activity; licence scope and distribution model are reviewed separately.

KYC/KYB and bank-onboarding preparation

PREPARATION / CONSISTENT PACK

We do not bypass compliance. We prepare one consistent pack in advance so the review can proceed with fewer avoidable loops and duplicate uploads.

Verification pre-check

  • We pre-check passports, proof of address, the UBO chart, source of funds/source of wealth and translations before filing with the registrar or bank.
  • We reconcile names, addresses, dates, ownership and signatures across forms to reduce repeat KYC/KYB requests and document returns.
  • We prepare a clear description of the activity, markets, counterparties, expected turnover and economic link to the selected GEO.

Bank-ready onboarding

  • Before applying, we match the company profile to a bank or EMI's eligibility criteria instead of sending the same pack to every provider.
  • We assemble one bank-ready data room covering corporate documents, UBO/KYC, website, contracts, invoices, source of funds and transaction flow.
  • We coordinate responses to compliance questions and help close legitimate requests quickly. Approval and timing always remain with the bank/EMI.

Timing depends on data completeness, business risk and provider workload. CrystalCore cannot guarantee an account, decision time or approval by any particular bank/EMI.

Who it suits

  • International trade, consulting, technology and regional headquarters.
  • Projects requiring UAE residence visas and genuine regional infrastructure.
  • Free-zone operations where the activity and income genuinely meet the chosen zone's and corporate-tax rules.

Main company types

  • A mainland LLC licensed by the relevant emirate's economic department and able to operate onshore within its licence.
  • FZE/FZ-LLC and other free-zone forms, with shareholder, office, audit and activity rules set by the specific authority.
  • A civil or professional company for selected professional services, subject to activity- and emirate-specific eligibility and ownership rules.
  • Private and Public Joint Stock Companies, share-company forms for larger, regulated and public-market projects.
  • A branch of a foreign or local company, a licensed establishment of the head office rather than a separate limited-liability entity.
  • Free-zone branches and offshore or special-purpose structures, available only through suitable authorities for permitted activities.

Founders, directors & address

  • Exact licensed activities must be selected first; regulated or strategic-impact activities may require external approvals or ownership restrictions.
  • Shareholder(s), manager/director under the authority's rules and an approved lease/flexi-desk/office suitable for the licence and visas are required.
  • 100% foreign ownership is available in many, but not all, scenarios; mainland, free-zone and branch routes depend on the activity.
  • UBO register, sanctions/AML screening and immigration eligibility apply as required.

Documents & KYC

  • A passport or other acceptable ID for every founder, director and ultimate beneficial owner (UBO).
  • Proof of residential address, usually issued within the previous three months; the reviewing party sets the exact validity period.
  • A transparent ownership chart through to natural persons and, for a corporate founder, its registry documents and authorised resolutions.
  • A description of the product, markets, counterparties, expected turnover, source of funds and source of wealth, supported by evidence.
  • Passport/ID, address, photo and immigration/entry details for shareholders and managers as required by the authority.
  • Name/activity application, constitutional documents, UBO declaration and lease/facility agreement.
  • For a corporate shareholder, certificate/articles, incumbency/board resolution, ownership chain, attestation and Arabic translation as applicable.
  • For a regulated activity, a business plan, qualifications and the sector regulator's NOC/approval.

Formation process

  1. Map the activity, customers, mainland access, visas, office, tax and banking against specific authorities.
  2. Reserve the name, obtain initial/external approvals and prepare corporate/UBO documents.
  3. Execute formation/lease documents, pay the government invoice and obtain the licence/certificate.
  4. After licensing, complete establishment/immigration cards, visas, FTA corporate-tax/VAT registrations and bank onboarding.

Indicative timeline

Usually 1–4 weeks for a standard unregulated structure with complete documents. External approvals, attestation, office/visas, FTA and banking extend the overall timeline.

Tax overview

  • Federal corporate tax is generally 0% on taxable income up to AED 375,000 and 9% above that threshold; special regimes and Pillar Two require separate analysis.
  • A Qualifying Free Zone Person receives 0% only on qualifying income while meeting all conditions; a free-zone licence alone does not guarantee the relief.
  • VAT, customs, withholding/treaty residence and foreign PE depend on operations and substance; a UAE tax adviser must confirm the position.

General overview, not personal tax or legal advice. Rules are rechecked before filing.

Banking & payment onboarding

  • Banks assess UAE nexus/substance, licence/activity, visas, office, UBOs, source of wealth/funds, contracts, customers and suppliers.
  • A licence and residence visa do not guarantee an account; a remote shell, high-risk activity/geography and weak evidence materially reduce approval prospects.

Annual obligations

  • Annual renewal of the licence, lease/facility and immigration records.
  • Accounting records, corporate-tax return and VAT filings; audit depends on authority, regime and size.
  • UBO updates and compliance with the free-zone/mainland authority.

Restrictions & risks

  • A low-cost zone incompatible with the activity, visas, bank and customer geography can cause expensive restructuring.
  • Free-zone tax benefits can be lost if qualifying-income, substance or transfer-pricing conditions are not met.
  • Government, zone, immigration, FTA and bank are independent decision makers with different requirements.

Scope of support

  • A mainland/free-zone comparison matrix covering activity, visas, office, tax and banking.
  • Coordination of name/activity, formation, lease, UBO and licence with the selected authority/partner.
  • FTA/accounting/bank hand-off; licence, visa, tax status and bank approval are not guaranteed.

The exact Basic scope and all exclusions are listed in the pricing section above. Non-standard structures and external costs are agreed before payment.
